Just below Marrakech, not very far from the Atlas, the Ourika valley is a one-day walk that can be done by hiring a taxi for a fair price from Marrakech. You have to go to the bottom of the valley, park, climb the mountain, local guides and children will help you and go up to see the waterfalls. Monkeys can be found there. In the valley itself, many barely visible villages hang on the walls. An excursion that I highly recommend to get away from the souks of Marrakech
